College has a NSS unit of 100 students. Separate room for N.S.S. department. NSS department organizes NSS camp with the assistance of NSS department of Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The NSS unit has conducted blood donation camps and tree plantations.

The NSS department has well deigned extension and outreach programme. The various extension activities such as celebration of Population Day, Anti-Drugs Day, Anti-AIDS Day, Gram Swachhata Campaign, Environment & Earth Protection Day, Shramdan, Sending Volunteers to help in the Assembly & local Elections, the NSS Day, The Republic Day, The International Literacy Day, National Integrity Day, etc. The college NSS unit has been participating pulse polio campaign in our area. The students along with the college faculty have been visiting the hilly region and awareness about Health, Education and Environment etc.

The NSS department has taken the initiative to make aware the society about social and health problems like female feticide, dowry system, environment protection, anti corruption, HIV awareness, anti tobacco and cleanliness awareness etc.

The NSS departments organized blood donation camps with the help of reputed hospitals : Rajarambapu Blood Bank, Islampur, Vasantdada Patil Blood Bank, Sangli. The NSS department of our college organizes all its activities under the norms of the University. The unit organizes tree plantation, village cleanliness, Awareness activities like Environment Pollution, Effects of pesticides on human life with the help of NGOs.

Many NSS volunteers have represented the state at various prestigious events and national integration camps. Volunteers of the College have been participated in various camps of University, State and National Level. The students are encouraged by giving those certificates and mementos for their outstanding performances. Institute provides financial support and encourage to them.

The volunteers have won a number of district and state level trophies. Many NSS participants have been awarded medals, certificates and cash award for their good performance in extension activities by university, local NGOs, state government.
